Cheap and Free Bandit Signs!

by Brooks on September 30, 2011

So I just figured out a way to make $25 every time I go to my local recycle center to drop off my paper, plastic, and glass.  This $25 goes directly back into my real estate investing business.  It ain’t pretty, but it’s effective.

I’m gonna keep it simple and let you connect the dots.

Did you connect the dots???

And if you look closely, you’ll see some super cheap property pricing!

Yes, we actually have properties in my market that you can sell for $9,900.

And yes, we can actually buy it for much cheaper in order to make money.

This is your free tip of the day – if you’re in my market, don’t go stealing my stakes :)

If you have another tip, feel free to share!

Wow. Great stuff.

So you are going to just recycle your signs to help save the planet instead of posting them all over town?

Just kidding!

You should find whoever is picking those up and give them a $20 to not pick up ones with your number on it. (I’ve tried a crisp, new $5 bill but it didn’t work too well. :) )

You are hilarious! I thought this was my scavenger secret, I’ve been going to the Gulf Shores sign graveyard for years. GS does not allow any bandit signs on the road and only one sign in a yard. The city pays people to go around and just pick up signs and with sticks/bolts and stakes. I just go down there to 1. retrieve my signs that were picked up so and 2. get sticks/bolts and h-wires.

Danny – I figure I’ll recycle them one more time in town before they make it back to the recycle center.

Tami – I’ve been stalking your ways for years, which is how I found out! Nah, jk, but great minds do think alike ;)

Very environmentalist! That’s a good idea.. From trash to dollars! Hope everybody could realize to throw their trash in a proper way. Nice post!

Thanks for commenting Angie! The way I see it the signs will get used at least twice before finally getting recycled. People often forget – Reduce. Re-use. Recycle. And in that order…

Absolutely! Go for it, as long as you don’t live in Lower Alabama ;)
